This guide shows students how to share their devices' screen to a Classroom TV, using Airtame.
This method is slightly different than Miracast and Apple Airplay.
Students must be connected to the Student Wireless network.
Student Wireless Networks
1. In your browser, navigate to the Airtame website. Then, enter the code displayed on the classroom TV.
2. Once you are connected, you will be prompted to "Join call" or "Share screen." Click on "Share Screen" to cast to the Airtame.
3. Once you press "Start Sharing," a window will display three options:
- "[Name of Browser] Tab": This casts the browser's tab to the screen. This is useful for playing YouTube videos with audio.
- "Window": This allows you to share an open window. This is useful for slideshow presentations.
- "Entire Screen": This mirrors everything on your screen to the classroom TV.
4. Select the window you want to share. Then, click the "Share" button.
You are now sharing your screen to the TV. If you close the tab or window, the Airtame will disconnect. If this happens, you will have to reconnect.
