If you are having issues with connecting to the printers, here is a guide on how to troubleshoot common issues people may run into while trying to print.
Go to your taskbar and click the up-arrow icon (as pictured below). Right click on the printer icon and select Login.
If there is an orange dot. you are not signed in.
(like pictured below):
When you right click on the icon, you can confirm. If you are not logged in it will say "Not logged in".
To login, press the "Login" option.
You will be redirected to the SafeQ login screen.
Login to the SafeQ Cloud Portal through Microsoft Entra ID.
Continue the login process. When you are finished logging in, you can close out of this window (as pictured below).
Check the icon on your taskbar to make sure you are signed in. It should look like it does below
Now, try and print and see if it allows you to.
If you still don't see your printer as a "Destination" option. Then it just needs to have its view of the printers refreshed. Below is what it should look like.
There will not be any numbers. It will just say the printer's name.
If you do not see your printer, right click on the printer icon in your taskbar. Then, select 'Synchronize printers now.
This should refresh the connection and allow you to select the printer you are needing.
If there is still an issue. Take a screenshot of any error message or of the printer destination options you are getting and then send it to us with a description of the issue at helpdesk@mbts.edu
