Restoring your iPhone or Android Phone from a Backup

Note: Before you begin, ensure you have a recent backup of your device. If you do not have a recent backup, please backup your device now. Use the appropriate method for your device (iCloud for iPhone, Google Drive or local storage for Android).
1. Restoring an iPhone from iCloud Backup
Turn on your new iPhone: If you are setting up your device for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions until you reach the "Apps & Data" screen.
Choose "From iCloud Backup": Select this option and sign in with your Apple ID.
Select a Backup: Choose the backup you want to restore from.

If you have already set up your iPhone:

Select the backup you want to restore: Choose the backup you want to restore from.

If you've already set up your Android phone:

3. Restoring an Android Phone from Local Storage (if applicable)

Open the file manager on your computer: Locate the folder where your backup is stored.
Copy the backup folder: Transfer it to your phone's internal storage or SD card.
Disconnect your phone: Safely remove it from your computer.
Go to Settings: On your phone, go to "Settings" > "System" > "Reset options".
Choose "Restore from backup": Select the backup you copied.
